ARC tracking troubleshooting (common gotchas)

1. Use the consignment number exactly as printed, letters included

ARC’s official tracker asks for the Consignment No. Public examples of ARC consignment numbers begin with a letter followed by digits, so do not drop the letter.

• Do not use the sender’s invoice number. ARC’s own result lists the invoice number separately, so it is not the tracking ID.
• No spaces. On ARC’s official tracker you can check several consignments at once by separating them with commas. On Easy Trackings, track one number at a time.
• Make sure the receipt is from Associated Road Carriers Ltd (arclimited.com). Searches for “ARC tracking” also show unrelated companies with similar names, such as Associated Road Cargo Logistics or the US carrier ArcBest. Their trackers will not find an ARC consignment.

2. Check “Delivery Basis”: door delivery or collection from the branch

ARC’s official result shows a Delivery Basis (for example door delivery) and a payment type (for example To Pay, Paid or To Be Billed). It also lists contact details for the delivering branch.

• If it is not door delivery, plan to collect from the destination ARC branch with the LR / consignee copy and ID.
• If the payment type is To Pay, the freight is paid at the branch or on delivery against your LR.
• Status says delivered or arrived, but nothing reached you? Call the delivering-branch number shown on the official result before assuming the consignment is lost.

3. “Local movement” and transshipment lines are normal

ARC’s movement history can show lines such as “Moved From [city] to [same city] – (Local Movement)” or a stop at another hub city on the way. These are usually transfers between ARC locations or a planned transshipment, not a mistake. Gaps of a day or more between lines on long surface routes are common.

The official tracker runs on a separate server (online.arclimited.com) that can be slow at times. If it does not load, try again later or call the booking branch.
