Akash Ganga tracking troubleshooting (common gotchas)

1. Booked ≠ picked up
A status of Booked / Manifested / Shipment created means the booking is registered in the system. It does not always mean a rider has already collected the parcel from the sender.
- If the status has not moved past booked for a working day or more, ask the sender whether pickup happened, then call the booking branch with the AWB and booking date.
- Weekends and holidays can delay the first out-scan. A quiet day on the tracker is not proof the parcel is lost.
2. Order number ≠ AWB
Akash Ganga’s tracker searches the courier AWB / consignment number, not the marketplace order ID, GST invoice, or the sender’s internal reference.
- If tracking returns nothing, check that you are not pasting an Amazon/Flipkart/Meesho-style order number or a bill number.

Service note (including ODA)
On its official Services page, Akash Ganga lists courier and cargo modes plus premium offerings that include OLT Regular, OLT Premium and OLT ODA (out-of-delivery-area style premium service). Door vs ODA handling depends on how the shipment was booked and whether the destination pin is treated as ODA — ask the booking branch with your AWB before assuming a delay is a lost parcel. We do not invent pin-level ODA maps; confirm serviceability with AGC.
Watch out for fake delivery-fee / UPI messages
- Akash Ganga’s official site states that branches, staff, vendors or any representative will never ask for payment for courier delivery, and warns customers not to share bank details or OTP and not to click UPI / online-payment links sent to the phone.
- Fraudsters sometimes post fake franchise/branch numbers on Google or Justdial and ask for small amounts (for example ₹5–₹10) via UPI to “release” a parcel. Treat that as a scam.
- Never share an OTP, UPI PIN, card details or a screen-sharing app with anyone who calls or messages about your parcel.

Akash Ganga tracking FAQ (troubleshooting)
- Why does tracking say booked but the seller says it was picked up? Pickup and the first network scan can lag. Confirm pickup with the sender, then call the booking branch with the AWB if there is still no movement after a working day.
- Why is my order number not working? The tracker needs the Akash Ganga AWB / consignment number, not the marketplace order ID. Ask the sender for the AWB on the docket.
- Why does Easy Trackings differ from agcgroup.in? Aggregators and the carrier update on different schedules. Prefer official Track Now for disputes and POD.
- Marked delivered but I did not receive it? Ask the destination branch for proof of delivery details (who signed, when). Use only official contact numbers. Then raise the issue with the booking/destination branch and keep screenshots of the AWB status.
